Why Ripe

Supermarket produce is picked early so it survives the trip. Ripe produce is picked when it's ready, by someone who cares how it turns out.

  • Picked days fresher, not weeks in a cold store
  • Money goes to locals: backyard growers, small farms and farm gates
  • Every trip is an outing: find new spots and meet the people behind your food
  • Easy for everyone: big buttons, clear text and no fiddly maps
🌱 Free to sell until June 2027

Questions

Good to know

When can I download Ripe?

Ripe is coming to the App Store and Google Play soon. Leave your email below and we'll tell you the day it goes live.

Where does Ripe work?

Anywhere in Australia. Search by your suburb or postcode to see growers near you. If there aren't many growers in your area yet, sign up anyway and tell the growers you know. Every new stall makes Ripe better for your area.

How do I pay?

The app shows how each grower takes payment when you reserve. Ripe is free for buyers with no booking fees.

Why can't I see the grower's address straight away?

Many growers sell from home, so their address is only shared with a buyer once they've confirmed that buyer's reservation.

Is the produce safe?

Growers are independent and responsible for what they sell. They must hold any licence or registration their products need, such as for eggs or honey. You can report any listing in the app with one tap.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, go to Me → Settings → Delete my account. You can also request deletion here.
